Apothic Wines is teaming up with Heidi Klum for a Halloween campaign that includes limited-edition wine “blood bags,” social content and a chance for one fan to attend Klum’s annual Halloween party.

The Apothic x Heidi Klum Type ‘A’ Blood Bags are designed as wine-drinking collectibles modeled after medical blood bags. The two-pack costs $10.31 and comes in a custom red cooler. The bags are intended to be filled with Apothic Red and are available only to U.S. consumers age 21 and older.

The first release is scheduled for Thursday night at 10:31 p.m. ET through ApothicBloodTypeA.com, while supplies last. Apothic says a second drop will be announced through its social channels, with the first clue pointing fans “look to the full moon.”

The partnership also gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at Klum’s preparations for her Halloween celebration. Apothic says Klum will share costume clues, hosting tips, fan reactions and creator content through the brand’s social channels.

Klum’s Halloween party is celebrating its 25th annual edition this year, and Apothic is an official sponsor.

Fans can also enter a sweepstakes for the chance to attend the party with a guest. The entry period runs through Sept. 27 at ApothicBloodTypeA.com, where participants are asked to share how they plan to celebrate Halloween with Apothic.

“My Halloween motto has always been: go BIG or go home!” Klum said in a news release. “I love that Apothic has so much fun with Halloween, and honestly, even the bottle feels like it was made for the holiday.”

The campaign is built around Apothic’s “You Deserve an A” theme, with the “Type ‘A’” name referring to the brand’s push for consumers to bring their “A Game” to Halloween. Apothic notes that the blood-bag design is a Halloween collectible and is not a medical product or intended for medical use.

“Apothic set out to be different from the start, creating wines that stand apart from traditional expectations,” Marshall Dawson, vice president of marketing at Gallo, said. “That same spirit is what turns an ordinary night into something extraordinary — and there’s no better night for that than Halloween.”

Apothic Red, the wine featured in the blood bags, is a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot and other varietals. The brand describes the wine as having blueberry and boysenberry flavors with vanilla and mocha notes.

Apothic Red is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $10.99 per 750-milliliter bottle at 13.5% ABV.

The Glenlivet’s New Scotch Takes Inspiration From France’s Provence Region https://thedailypour.com/whiskey/scotch/glenlivet-12-year-old-provence/ https://thedailypour.com/whiskey/scotch/glenlivet-12-year-old-provence/#respond Thu, 17 Sep 2026 21:52:19 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159540

The Glenlivet is bringing a taste of Southern France to Speyside with its new limited-edition The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Provence Edition.

The 12-year-old single malt is finished in a combination of Château Sainte Marguerite white wine, Rivesaltes and Sauternes casks. The scotch is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) and is being positioned as a limited-edition expression inspired by the flavors and culture of Provence.

According to The Glenlivet, the wine cask finishing layers the distillery’s signature smoothness with floral aromas and ripe orchard fruit. Provided tasting notes include white peach, nectarine, pear and bright citrus, followed by a mellow finish with lingering fruit, toasted oak and baking spice.

“With the Provence Edition, we wanted to take The Glenlivet somewhere unexpected,” The Glenlivet Master Blender Kevin Balmforth said in a news release. “By actively monitoring the finishing process and carefully balancing the influence of Château Sainte Marguerite, Rivesaltes, and Sauternes wine casks, we have created a whisky that delivers vibrant orchard fruit, elegant floral notes, and exceptional complexity.”

The release connects The Glenlivet’s Scottish single malt with the French influence of Provence, including a culinary collaboration with Frenchette Bakery pastry chef Michelle Palazzo.

To mark the launch, The Glenlivet debuted Le Café du Whisky, a pop-up experience beginning Thursday in New York City. The activation will feature a Provençal-inspired pastry created by Palazzo called Tarte aux Pêches. The pastry is made with a vanilla bean custard infused with The Glenlivet Provence Edition and is topped with peaches. The Glenlivet says the dessert is designed to echo the whisky’s white peach, nectarine, pear and citrus notes.

The brand will also offer national bookable experiences centered on the Provence Edition, along with a Provençal Spritz cocktail highlighting the whisky’s fruit and citrus character.

The Glenlivet’s campaign for the release extends the French theme through “Peachtanque,” a fictional game created for the brand’s campaign world that combines elements of Scottish craft with a French accent.

C4’s New Energy Drink Was Made to Taste Like Beer https://thedailypour.com/no-low-alcohol/c4-all-hopped-up-beer-energy-drink/ https://thedailypour.com/no-low-alcohol/c4-all-hopped-up-beer-energy-drink/#respond Thu, 17 Sep 2026 20:37:12 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159528 C4 All Hopped Up

(Image: C4 Energy)

C4 Energy is bringing a beer-inspired energy drink to the market just in time for tailgating season, Oktoberfest and Sober October.

The brand has confirmed C4 All Hopped Up, a new zero-alcohol energy drink designed to taste like a light beer with a splash of orange. The drink contains 200 milligrams of caffeine per 16-ounce can and has zero sugar, fat or artificial colors. It is also formulated with vitamin B12.

C4 All Hopped Up will launch Sept. 23 through TikTok Shop and Amazon in six-packs of 16-ounce cans for $14.99. It will become available through C4Energy.com beginning Sept. 30.

The new drink is aimed at consumers who want the social experience associated with cracking open a beer without the alcohol or hangover.

C4 describes All Hopped Up as having a crisp light-beer flavor with orange notes. The brand is positioning it for drinkers, dabblers and consumers exploring no-alcohol options, while adding an energy boost in place of the traditional effects of alcohol.

C4’s launch comes as beverage brands increasingly experiment with products designed to provide alternatives to traditional alcoholic drinks. Rather than creating a conventional nonalcoholic beer, however, All Hopped Up combines a beer-inspired flavor profile with the functional positioning of an energy drink.

The company cites research from Keurig Dr Pepper’s State of Beverages 2026 report indicating that one-third of consumers believe energy drinks can be a good substitute for alcohol.

‘A Game That Is Risking People’s Lives’: Massachusetts Treasurer Goes Scorched Earth on Trump’s Tariffs https://thedailypour.com/news/massachusetts-treasurer-risking-lives-trump-tariffs/ https://thedailypour.com/news/massachusetts-treasurer-risking-lives-trump-tariffs/#respond Thu, 17 Sep 2026 18:22:42 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159488 tariffs

Massachusetts Treasurer Deb Goldberg warned that ongoing tariff uncertainty is putting alcohol industry jobs and state tax revenue at risk as distributors, suppliers and manufacturers struggle to absorb rapidly changing costs, WWLP Springfield reported.

“I feel that this whole tariff thing is a game. And it’s a game that is risking people’s lives in the sense — it’s risking their livelihoods,” Goldberg said Wednesday during a press call hosted by For the Long Term, a nonprofit focused on state and municipal financial leaders.

The comments came as alcohol industry executives described the effects of tariffs on businesses across the supply chain, from importers and distributors to restaurants, retailers and consumers.

The U.S.-Canada trade dispute has added another layer of uncertainty for the industry. The Trump administration imposed a 50% tariff on certain Canadian products in August after a three-day suspension, while a separate Sept. 8 proclamation ordered certain Canadian alcoholic beverages excluded from U.S. imports beginning Sept. 29.

Chris Conrad, president of New England alcohol distributor Martignetti Companies, said tariffs have reduced earnings while pushing financial pressure onto suppliers, restaurants, retailers and consumers.

Conrad said Massachusetts’ Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, which operates under Goldberg’s oversight as state treasurer, has provided flexibility as tariff changes have made pricing difficult to predict.

“That allows us to make changes as we need on the fly, literally with no day’s notice,” Conrad said, according to WWLP Springfield. “And we’re grateful for their partnership in that regard.”

Under normal Massachusetts rules, out-of-state alcohol suppliers must submit prices to the commission by the first day of the prior month for those prices to take effect the following month. Goldberg said the ABCC has allowed suppliers to request immediate price changes because of the difficulty of operating under the standard schedule.

“We are doing everything we can do to support our businesses,” Goldberg said.

The pricing flexibility comes as tariff-related costs continue to affect multiple parts of the beverage alcohol industry. Scott Allen, vice president of wine and spirits importer and distributor M.S. Walker, said his company has decided to stop manufacturing certain products because consumers “just will not tolerate these price increases.”

Allen credited Goldberg with listening to industry concerns and acting on requests involving the state’s regulatory system.

The effects also extend beyond imported spirits. The 50% U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum have increased costs for craft brewers, who rely heavily on aluminum cans and steel products such as kegs and brewing equipment. The Brewers Association has estimated that aluminum cans accounted for 75% of packaged craft beer volume and revenue based on early 2025 sales data.

Goldberg said the broader concern is what sustained disruption could mean for Massachusetts’ tax base.

“Quite often these retailers are a core part of local revenue sources, and the alcoholic beverages industry also pays an enormous amount of taxes and employs a lot of people,” Goldberg said. “So overall, as state treasurer, I am also very worried about general revenues coming into the state and us being able to sustain the job that government has to do.”

The Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission oversees alcohol licensing and regulation in the state. Goldberg’s office says the commission is working with industry stakeholders as tariff changes create additional challenges for businesses.

The warning comes as the administration’s Canadian alcohol measures approach another major deadline. Under the Sept. 8 proclamation, certain Canadian alcoholic beverages will be excluded from U.S. imports beginning Sept. 29, while covered products imported before that date but not yet entered for consumption remain subject to the 50% duty.

‘See? We Don’t Need AI’: Man Who Made a Real Bed Made of Beer Bottles Goes Viral on TikTok https://thedailypour.com/article/real-bed-beer-bottles-viral-tiktok/ https://thedailypour.com/article/real-bed-beer-bottles-viral-tiktok/#respond Wed, 16 Sep 2026 20:50:07 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159476 TikTok has seen plenty of bizarre beds lately. Beds made of pancakes. Beds made of eggs. Beds made of dumplings. Beds made of cake. Beds made of fruit. Beds made of just about anything someone can imagine.

But one creator apparently decided to take the trend out of the world of AI and actually build a bed out of beer bottles.

@feng.qingyang 啤酒瓶床,挺舒服Beer bottle bed, quite comfortable. #happy #funny #extremesports #gofighting ♬ Laxed – Jawsh 685

The bizarre creation has gone massively viral. A TikTok posted by a user named Feng Qingyang has surpassed 80 million views and 6.9 million likes, showing a man climbing into a full-size bed apparently constructed from real beer bottles.

And he commits to the bit.

The video begins with the man walking toward the bed wearing a pair of slippers made from beer bottles. He steps out of the bottle slippers, climbs into the bottle bed and pulls a beer-bottle “blanket” over himself before settling in.

The entire thing looks ridiculous, which is surely the point.

The video is a real-life spin on a bizarre TikTok format that has become increasingly common: AI-generated videos asking viewers which fantastical bed they would sleep in. The videos typically cycle through a series of impossible beds made from foods, drinks or other objects, often accompanied by captions such as “your month, your bed.”

Feng Qingyang’s video takes that same concept and gives it a decidedly more labor-intensive treatment.

Rather than generating a surreal bed with AI, the creator appears to have physically assembled one. The headboard and mattress are covered with rows of beer bottles, while the blanket is made from bottles that appear to be tied together with strings.

The result has left TikTok viewers simultaneously impressed and amused.

The video’s top comment, with more than a million likes, simply says, “your month your bed,” referencing the AI-bed trend that inspired the concept.

Another comment, liked more than 490,000 times, gets at the reason this particular video stands out: “see? we don’t need ai.”

That’s why this video has resonated so deeply. In a time where many people are against an AI movement that is rapid and seems like it could be uncontrollable, threatening jobs and perhaps humanity itself, it’s nice to see someone do something in real life, without the aid of AI. The absurd amount of time and effort it certainly took if the video is as real as it looks is entirely the point here: AI aids efficiency. But when you take your time and do things slowly and on your own, they have more meaning. Even something as silly and impractical as making a bed out of beer bottles.

This Bar’s Rainbow Shots Have TikTok Mesmerized https://thedailypour.com/article/rainbow-shots-texas-tiktok/ https://thedailypour.com/article/rainbow-shots-texas-tiktok/#respond Wed, 16 Sep 2026 19:13:33 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159427 A Texas bar is going viral for pouring a row of rainbow-colored shots.

A TikTok user named Makayla Alinda posted a video of the rainbow shots at Bullpen Bar & Grill in Kingsville, Texas, and the clip has exploded on TikTok. It has amassed more than 3 million views and 150,000 likes, with viewers fascinated by the way a single pour produces a lineup of shots ranging from blue and green to yellow, orange and red.

@makaylaolivarez Rainbow shots 🌈 🩷❤🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 #bartok #bartender #shots @BullpenTX ♬ Yo no Quiero agua – D Jam Saw & Anthony Ready & Yeigo

The effect is especially satisfying to watch.

Thanks to the way the different liquids are layered before pouring, as the bartender pours, the first shot comes out bright blue. The color of each shot changes through green, yellow and several shades of orange before ending with a deep red shot. It’s essentially a liquid rainbow being poured one shot at a time.

One commenter joked, “So who ever gets the blue gets only mixer😂.” Alinda responded that the blue portion is blue curaçao, meaning there is alcohol in the first shot.

Others questioned the opposite end of the rainbow.

“Looks cool but not drinkable,” one person wrote. “The last one is pure grenadine.”

Another commenter suggested that the shots aren’t meant to be divided among several people in the first place. The idea, they noted, is for one person to take the entire rainbow, since the individual pours don’t contain the same amount of liquor.

The rainbow-shot technique has been around for years. Traditional recipes typically use ingredients such as grenadine, orange juice, vodka and blue curaçao, with additional mixers sometimes added. The liquids are layered according to their different densities, allowing them to remain separated in a mixing vessel before being poured rapidly into a line of shot glasses.

As the mixture moves through the glasses, the proportions of the different layers change, creating different colors from one shot to the next. The result is a rainbow effect without having to make seven completely separate drinks.

The technique has been documented online for well over a decade. Tipsy Bartender published a rainbow-shot video in 2011 that has since generated more than 11 million views on YouTube, while cocktail recipes describing the same color-changing pour have been circulating for years.

So Bullpen Bar & Grill didn’t invent the rainbow shot. But its version has found a new audience on TikTok, where the mesmerizing pour has inspired plenty of people to wonder whether they could recreate it themselves.

“I wanna learn how to do this just for funsies,” one commenter wrote.

Others were simply there for the spectacle.

“😍🌈 so cute!!!”

Whether all seven shots taste equally good is another question entirely. Traditional recipes can leave the final red shot heavily influenced by grenadine, which adds a significant amount of sweetness, while the earlier shots can have different balances of spirits and mixers. Some cocktail recipes even recommend changing the proportions to make the individual shots more balanced.

But that’s arguably beside the point; rainbow shots are a visual spectacle, designed to make people stop and watch. And with more than 3 million TikTok views, Bullpen Bar 7 Grill’s colorful pour is doing exactly that.

TikTok Is Obsessed With This Texas Bar’s Soft-Serve Espresso Martinis https://thedailypour.com/cocktail/tiktok-soft-serve-espresso-martinis/ https://thedailypour.com/cocktail/tiktok-soft-serve-espresso-martinis/#respond Wed, 16 Sep 2026 17:43:40 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159396 A Texas bar has TikTok users dreaming about a trip south after showing off its soft-serve espresso martinis, including a pumpkin spice version that looks like the fall cocktail of our dreams.

Moose & Oak, a neighborhood bar and restaurant in Montgomery, Texas, posted a video showing off the frozen takes on the classic espresso martini. The video has since racked up more than 252,000 views and 15,000 likes, with commenters expressing mass regret that they don’t live close enough to Montgomery.

@mooseandoak how do you like your coffee?! ☕ #espressomartini #softserve #bartok ♬ original sound – Moose and Oak

“Why is Texas so far from Texas 😭 This looks incredible,” one commenter wrote.

Another person added, “& here i am in Ohio sad that i dont live in Texas. 😑😭😭”

“Running to catch the next flight to Texas holy shit,” another commenter wrote.

And it’s easy to see why the drinks caught people’s attention. Instead of serving an espresso martini in a traditional cocktail glass, Moose & Oak turns the cocktail into a soft-serve-style frozen drink, giving the familiar coffee-and-booze combination an ice cream twist.

The bar’s seasonal version adds pumpkin spice to the equation, making the drink particularly well suited to the arrival of fall. It’s essentially two of the internet’s favorite drink trends meeting in one glass: espresso martinis and pumpkin spice.

Moose & Oak lists its soft-serve espresso martinis as a Saturday special, available from 11 a.m. to midnight. The Montgomery bar also offers soft-serve margaritas.

A post shared by Moose and Oak (@mooseandoak_)

Located at 764 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Moose & Oak opened in 2025 and was founded by husband-and-wife team Edgar and Jordan Erreguin. The bar describes itself as a neighborhood gathering spot built around cocktails, beer, bar food, brunch and entertainment, with pool tables, dart boards and big-screen TVs.

The soft-serve drinks are perfect for a bar like that. They’re playful and creative enough to stand out on social media while still being recognizable as cocktails people already know and love. These drinks are not something you see every day, and they truly do look delicious.

If you live in Texas, the soft-serve espresso martini is a Saturday-only excuse to start planning a road trip. Montgomery is located about 50 miles northwest of Houston.

Noel Gallagher Says He May Join Liam in Quitting Booze for Oasis’ 2027 Tour https://thedailypour.com/news/noel-gallagher-quit-alcohol-oasis-tour-2027/ https://thedailypour.com/news/noel-gallagher-quit-alcohol-oasis-tour-2027/#respond Tue, 15 Sep 2026 19:30:02 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159282 Noel Gallagher

Noel Gallagher says he may give up alcohol for Oasis’ 2027 tour after watching his brother Liam Gallagher prepare to stay sober for the band’s next run of shows.

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, Noel said Liam will be “off the booze” when Oasis returns to the stage in 2027, while he is considering doing the same.

“Liam will be off the booze and I wasn’t for the last tour, but I might be for this,” Gallagher said.

The decision comes as Oasis prepares for a much longer stretch on the road. The band has announced 38 shows across Europe and the United States between May and September 2027, including 11 performances at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and four shows at Knebworth House.

Gallagher acknowledged that the band cannot approach touring the way it did during Oasis’ rise to fame in the 1990s.

“You’ve just got to go to bed early,” he told talkSPORT. “We can’t do it like we did in the 90s; we can’t even do it like we did in the 2000s, but you’ve got to pick your battles.”

Oasis ended a 16-year hiatus with its 2025 reunion tour, which included five shows at Wembley Stadium. Gallagher said the decision to continue touring came after the second Wembley performance.

“Nobody really knew what was going to happen, how it was going to go,” he said. “We did Cardiff and Manchester and by the time we got to Wembley…. it was decided we were going to do it.”

Oasis’ 2027 tour will begin with five shows at Celtic Park in Glasgow before moving through Europe and eventually to the United States. The band will play three shows at Gillette Stadium in Boston and three at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Gallagher said Boston and Las Vegas had originally been scheduled for the band’s 2025 tour.

Oasis’ latest album, “Dig Out Your Soul,” was released in 2008. Gallagher also told talkSPORT that the band has no plans to release new music.

The Daily Pour Picks Is Live: Shop the Bottles Our Creators Love https://thedailypour.com/article/the-daily-pour-picks-bottle-shop-announcement/ https://thedailypour.com/article/the-daily-pour-picks-bottle-shop-announcement/#respond Tue, 15 Sep 2026 18:03:28 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159205

The Daily Pour is excited to unveil The Daily Pour Picks, a new virtual bottle shop that’s built around the people you trust for recommendations.

The Daily Pour Picks is a curated online store where Dani Kelaty (The Whisky Pour), Pedro Wolfe (The Tequila Pour) and Elissa Dunn (Hellqueen Cocktails / The Cocktail Pour) hand-select bottles for U.S. customers to buy and have shipped to their door. Every listing carries a description written by the creator themselves, in their own voice, rather than the boilerplate copy typical of most bottle shop sites.

You already watch them open bottles. You already trust their palate. Now you can drink what they drink.

What’s Available

The curated selection leans into whiskey and tequila, the categories Dani and Pedro cover, but there’s also a lineup of vodkas, gins, rums and liqueurs rounding things out. Some picks are widely available bottles the creators adore. Future selections will include barrel selections sourced exclusively for The Daily Pour — bottles that won’t turn up on a retail shelf anywhere else.

Events Tie-In

The shop isn’t limited to browsing from home. The Daily Pour Picks will tie directly into our live events, Whiskey Washback, Arte Agave, Whiskey Riot and Rum Festival & Congress, where attendees will be able to buy bottles featured at the events and have them shipped afterward, rather than carrying heavy bottles with them throughout the night. Each event will have an on-site activation where attendees can check off the bottles they want at a handout or checkout station, with the order fulfilled and shipped from there.

‘Another Positive Step’: US Spirits Industry Welcomes Trump’s Decision to Remove Tariffs on Irish Whiskey https://thedailypour.com/whiskey/irish-whiskey/us-spirits-industry-trump-remove-tariffs-irish-whiskey/ https://thedailypour.com/whiskey/irish-whiskey/us-spirits-industry-trump-remove-tariffs-irish-whiskey/#respond Mon, 14 Sep 2026 19:23:54 +0000 https://thedailypour.com/?p=159177 Irish whiskey tariff

The U.S. spirits industry is welcoming President Donald Trump’s announcement that the United States will remove its 10% tariff on Irish whiskey.

Chris Swonger, president and CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, called the announcement “another positive step toward reducing barriers to spirits trade.”

“Following President Trump’s earlier action to remove tariffs on Scotch and all other UK whiskies, this announcement is another positive step toward reducing barriers to spirits trade,” Swonger said in a statement. “As U.S. hospitality businesses enter the critical holiday season, this action will provide a welcome boost for retailers, restaurants, consumers and the American economy.”

Trump announced the tariff move Sunday during the Irish Open at his family-owned golf course in Doonbeg, Ireland. The announcement came after Trump met with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin and as Irish golfer Shane Lowry, who won the tournament, was among those who had urged Trump to remove the tariff.

Irish whiskey currently faces a 10% U.S. tariff as part of duties imposed on wine and spirits from the European Union. The rate was reduced from 15% in July.

Trump did not provide a timeline for when the tariff would be removed, and details on how the administration would implement the announcement were not immediately available.

The Irish Whiskey Association also welcomed Trump’s announcement, saying it would continue working with U.S. and European officials toward a return to zero-for-zero tariffs across beverage exports.
